She Marries Her Prince …. Twice!
As pantomime stories go, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has its fair share of good and evil, ooh’s, ahh’s and laughter from the audience, crazy comic characters and of course, a message of love in a happy ending – that’s a must for all pantos. But for this production New Mills Art theatre has a unique and very special happy ever after ending to the story of Snow White.
A couple of years ago Jessica Holman and Andrew Jordan met at the Art Theatre during panto rehearsals for Cinderella. They fell in love and married last October in a beautiful ceremony in Stockport, inviting their fellow cast members to a wonderfully apt panto themed reception! Their life as couple certainly started with panto and continues to flourish, as the lovely Jessica playing Snow White gets to say ‘yes’ for the second time and marry her very own Prince played by her handsome husband Andrew. Mr & Mrs Jordan AKA Prince Ferdinand of Farawasia and Snow White marry twice – is there a better fairy tale ending than this!
Rehearsals for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs are well underway and the cast are ready to deliver yet another wonderful traditional pantomime. The Friends of the Art Theatre, New Mills, are famous for producing this unique family entertainment – last year’s panto picking up two Association of Community Theatre awards. The very reasonably priced tickets are still the same as last year, so families are able to afford and enjoy the show together.
